The estate grounds spanned Blake Road, Tamarack Road, and Orchard Avenue. The pond and many of the exotic trees are still visible. The pictured carriage house and boiler house are demolished.

The Estate's owner, Francis Blake, was an inventor who worked in this custom-built home laboratory. There was also a chemical storage shed set out in the woods of the property.
